Tuesday 19th May

8th week of lock down, 57 days done, my sixth lockdown diaries instalment!

Wednesday 20th May

My kids today, they are driving me to the absolute edge if it’s not one it’s the other, or the bloody other. But on the upside my yeast has arrived!

Thursday 21st May

It’s been a while since we’ve had CBeebies on as the big kids are a bit too big for it now….Darcy however, has just discovered this wondrous world and absolutely loves it. It’s so weird to see the presenters filming their bits from home but I love having a little nosey into their houses! It has definitely become way more middle class though because I just heard a caterpillar on Hey Duggie asking for more Pak Choi!

Friday 22nd May

I’ve been walking around all day with the biggest wedgie no matter what I did I couldn’t get rid of it. It was only last thing today that I realised that my pants were in fact back to front!

Saturday 23rd May

I have decided to re-work my website. I currently use blogger but I don’t like how it looks and it limits the design process so I can’t get it to look exactly how I want it to. I have decided to migrate to WordPress….should be nice and simple…..

Sunday 24th May

It is not that simple….

Monday 25th May

Decided to get out and try and forget the cluster fuck of current computing problems….I live in the New Forest, a gorgeous little village that is busy at the best of times, but lockdown has attracted even more people who are in search of fresh air and space. I try not to judge or get annoyed, it is completely understandable that people would flock here, after all isn’t everyone  just trying to stay sane in insane times? However, todays accidental eavesdrop has made the whole ‘not judging’ concept nigh on impossible:

‘I just can’t believe it, there is horse poo everywhere’ said Idiot 1

‘I know, it’s crazy, there is so much poo’ replied Idiot 2

‘Do you think they come into the bushes to poo in the shade’ asked idiot 1 – I am really trying hard not to laugh at this point, although I must admit I’ve never really thought about this, she might actually have a point, maybe the horses do in fact like to shit in the shade, maybe these idiots aren’t idiots after all, maybe they are asking THE questions that will lead to some truly fantastic lockdown revelations and discussions. Or, as I suspect is more likely, they are the same calibre as the frequent visitors who run into the local shops exclaiming that there are cows roaming the road and we must call the farmers to wrangle up said FREE RANGE cows before they get lost or cause an accident.

Well one thing that hopefully will result from lockdown is that everyone learns a little more, re-connects with nature and realises that horses do in fact shit in the woods – preferably under a nice shady tree!
